aaaah, it's the little things that bring me joy. the other day, my sweet hubby dug up all my old (and WAY overgrown!) basil and planted fresh, new baby basil. then, my sweet neighbor, all on her own, 'fed' all my plants w/ fertilizer (something I rarely treat them to) and kept them well-hydrated while i was away for three weeks. love my humble potted garden. here's to future gardening in real beds one day...happy sigh...
